PLACEMENT OF 10,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES (the Placement)
Further to our announcements on 8 January 2007 and 9 January 2007, our directors are pleased to announce that the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the SGX-ST) had on 19 January 2007, granted in-principle approval for the listing and quotation of 10,000,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of AnnAik Limited (our Company) arising from the Placement (the Placement Shares) on the SGX-ST.
The in-principle approval is subject to the submission of a written undertaking from us that:
(a) we will make periodic announcements (via SGXNET) on the utilisation of the Placement
proceeds as and when the funds from the Placement are materially disbursed; and
(b) we will provide a status report on the use of the Placement proceeds in our annual report.
The in-principle approval of the SGX-ST is not to be taken as an indication of the merits of the Placement, the Placement Shares, our Company or our subsidiaries.
