PROFIT GUIDANCE FOR HALF YEAR RESULTS ENDED 30 JUNE 2009
Based on preliminary assessment of the unaudited financial results of AnnAik Limited and it's subsidiaries (the "Group") for half year ended 30 June 2009 ("HY2009"), the Board of Directors expects the Group to incur a loss for HY2009. The loss was mainly due to fall in sales as a result of a contraction in demand of stainless steel products, lower selling prices followed by the decrease in stainless steel prices, lower utilization rate and higher fixed cost of our newly set-up plant in China and lower profit contribution from our associate .
Further details of the Group's financial performance for HY2009 will be disclosed when the Company announces its unaudited results announcement in mid of August 2009.
